CLEAN SLATE, AMELIORATE
If last week was venturing through a foggy wood, unsure of your exact steps and cautiously navigating your way about, this week brings a gust of wind that clears the way. That being said, you’re still in the woods. There’s just a little more clarity of the ground you walk on and where you’re headed than perhaps you had before. What’s fun about several planets being in Pisces is the mystery, the fantasy, the surrealism and the softer tone that seems to wrap us in a warm blanket after taking the icy plunge that was winter. What’s not so fun about all of this Pisces energy is the undefined, the delusion, confusion, and lack of a sturdy foundation. Not to mention, our emotions could use some stability right about now. This transition has been magical and transformative, bringing us gently into the next reality and away from the harsh rigidity of Capricorn. As we’ve floated along, we’ve unconsciously been preparing for what’s up next: Aries season.
Aries season is known for bringing action, play, motivation, spontaneity and independence. Aries is the first sign on the astrological calendar, marking the beginning of spring, and directly aligned with the vernal equinox. Because of this, I like to view the first day of Aries season as the astrological “New Years Day.” We officially say goodbye to winter and with open arms welcome the warmth. This year, we are graced with the full moon in Virgo just two days before the equinox, symbolizing a reflection and release of all the difficult lessons learned from the previous astrological year. The sun will still be in Pisces the day of the full moon, providing us the assistance of our unconscious to dig deep into our psyche and do a full spring cleaning, allowing the necessary space to accept all the gifts that Aries has to offer. Virgo is mutable earth. This full moon gives us stable ground to stand on, with meticulous thoughts and organization to gather what’s been scattered. You may have been feeling overwhelmed, confused, and head in the clouds. This full moon brings clarity and focus, ameliorating the stress of the unknown. We can use it to plan, manifest practical goals, and organize. I always love using full and new moons in Virgo to literally declutter and organize my space, as Virgo does not perform well in a mess. Clarity, details, focus and active planning will go a long way this week. As always with full moons, be aware of mood swings and heightened emotional reactions. By harnessing the healing and grounding energy of this full moon, we can effectively make the swing into Aries season fully prepared and ready for the unpredictability Aries is sure to throw.
Though noticeable, this transition is not abrupt. As long as more than one planet is in Pisces, we’re all collectively adventuring through the enchanted forest that comes with it. As each planet steps into Aries, one by one, more reality is introduced to our consciousness. First, the sun clears the fog. Shortly after, Mercury guides us back to the path, and finally Jupiter reminds us why we entered the woods in the first place. Once the Aries influence takes control, we’ll officially be out of the woods and back on the highway, continuing full speed ahead but with an energetic refuel and brand new magical tools under our belts. But more on that later.
For now, just focus on taking the space you need this week to prepare. Don’t get ahead of yourself but don’t get stuck in the quicksand of self pity, either. These enchanted forest metaphors are getting out of hand, so I’ll stop here. You’re stronger than you know and have everything inside you that you could possibly need to get you where you want to be. Trust that the inner critic in your head is only trying to help, and forgive its judgment. If we can listen to its advice without attaching guilt or shame, we’re one step closer to unlocking the door that leads to everything we’ve ever wanted.
LOVE, JENNA
